Christina Forrer !

When I was writing my HAPPILY, Christina Forrer reached out to me to talk fairytales. I couldn’t believe I had existed as long as I had without knowing her work. She is now one of my favorite geniuses. One day I will figure out how to stitch myself into her tapestries so I can get out of here alive, but until then we have her art and her forthcoming book! I have a tiny essay on it inspired by Christina’s The Turnip Princess (Rubliprinnzessin), 2022 and also inspired by my son stepping on a rusty nail (he’s fine).
